Windows apps: Privacy Policy

Applies to the Microsoft Store apps Crazy Eights Offline Card Game, Mind Skills Arcade and Brain Break, published by DixonAppStudio LLC. Last updated 3 November 2026.

Short version

These apps do not collect, store on our servers, sell or share any personal or user data. They contain no advertising, no analytics, no trackers and no account sign-in. They work fully offline: the Windows package does not even request internet access.

What stays on your PC

AppSaved on your PC only
Crazy Eights Offline Card GameMatch statistics (matches played and won, best score, win streak, wins per difficulty), your difficulty and sound settings.
Mind Skills ArcadeScores and play counts per game, daily-puzzle and play streaks, difficulty, sound and theme settings.
Brain BreakYour break settings (interval, hours, quiet weekends), the breaks you have taken and your focus streak.

This information lives in the app's own storage in your Windows user profile. It is never uploaded. Uninstalling the app deletes it; Mind Skills Arcade and Crazy Eights also have a reset button.

Notifications (Brain Break)

Brain Break shows at most one Windows notification per interval you choose (30, 60 or 90 minutes), only inside the hours you set, and stays silent while Windows reports that you are presenting, playing full screen or using Do not disturb. You can turn invites off, snooze, skip or pause them at any time. Brain Break reads only that busy / not-busy state from Windows; it does not look at your windows, files or activity.

Purchases and trials

The apps are sold through the Microsoft Store. Purchases, refunds and free trials are handled by Microsoft; we never see your payment details. The apps ask Windows only whether this copy is a trial or a full licence, so a trial can show how many days are left. Microsoft's privacy statement applies to the Store: privacy.microsoft.com.

Links

The only links the apps open are this privacy page, the Windows Startup apps settings page and the app's own Microsoft Store page, each only when you click them. They open in your browser or in Windows, outside the app.

Children

The apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
