The flag starts pixelated and gets clearer with each wrong guess, and you have five guesses. Look at the colours and the layout first — stripes, a cross, a canton or an emblem — because those survive the pixelation long before any detail does.
A new puzzle goes live every day at midnight UTC and everyone gets the same one, so you can compare results with friends or a class without spoilers. Solving today's puzzle keeps your streak alive.

Answers come from the site's 197-country dataset. Africa has the most countries (54), followed by Asia (48) and Europe (46), so on any given day a mystery country is most likely to be in one of those three.
