Troubleshooting, contact and the answers to the problems people hit most
Most problems people report come down to one of four things, and all four have a quick fix. If none of these covers it, the contact details are below.
Refresh the page first — the site caches itself for offline use, and very occasionally a stale cached file is the cause. A hard refresh, or clearing the site from your browser's stored data, resolves it.
If a game loads but does nothing, check whether JavaScript is blocked for the site. Every game is interactive and none of them work with scripting disabled.
Audio Tone Memory, Audio Word Memory, Simon, Rhythm Tap and Sound Direction all use sound. Browsers block audio until you interact with the page, so press Start before deciding the sound is broken.
Sound Direction specifically needs headphones. It works by the timing and level difference between your two ears, and speakers deliver both channels to both ears, which destroys the effect entirely.
Scores, streaks and XP live in your own browser's storage rather than on our servers. That means nobody else can see them, and it also means clearing your browsing data deletes them.
It also means they do not follow you between devices or between browsers. A score set on your phone will not appear on your laptop.
Private or incognito windows discard storage when you close them, so a run in one will not be saved.
If a game gives an obviously wrong result, a link goes nowhere, or something overlaps on your screen, we want to know — those are bugs and they get fixed. Include the page address and what device and browser you were using.
Scores are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browsing data, or using a private window, removes them. They also do not sync between devices.
