Priority Target — Play Free Online

Free focus and attention drill — instant play, no signup, no download

Priority Target shows several targets of different values at once and asks you to take the most valuable first. You cannot get them all, so the score is decided by your ranking decisions rather than your speed — which makes it an unusually direct test of judgement under pressure.

How to play

Multiple targets appear with different values.

Decide which is worth taking first.

Click targets in priority order before they expire.

Low-value targets expiring costs you nothing much.

Your score is total value collected.

What it actually trains

Attentional prioritisation — evaluating competing options and committing quickly. It is the decision half of attention rather than the perceptual half.

Tips to score higher

Value per second remaining is the right measure, not value alone. A high-value target about to expire may be unreachable.

Decide on the whole set at a glance, then execute without re-evaluating.

Let low-value targets expire deliberately. Trying to take everything is the commonest way to score badly.

Re-evaluating mid-sequence costs more than a slightly suboptimal order.

Frequently asked questions

Should I always take the highest value first?

Not necessarily. A high-value target that is about to expire or is far away may be worth less than two near ones.

Can I get all the targets?

No, and the design assumes you will not. Choosing is the task.

How is this different from Aim Trainer?

Aim Trainer has one target at a time and measures pointing speed. Here the decision is the difficulty.

Best strategy?

Rank once, execute without revisiting. Decision churn is what costs the most.
