Face Rotation shows a face turned by some angle and asks you to say how far it has been rotated. What it actually trains

Mental rotation applied to a highly familiar stimulus. Because you have a strong template for an upright face, the mismatch is easy to detect and the angle is hard to quantify — which separates 'noticing it is wrong' from 'knowing by how much'.

Tips to score higher

Use the eye line. A line through both eyes is the single clearest angle reference a face offers.

Compare against upright, not against the previous face. Anchoring on the last item introduces drift.

Near 180 degrees, judgement gets much less reliable for everyone. Slow down deliberately there.

Tilt your head slightly for the awkward angles. It is not cheating and it genuinely helps.
